Private Event Booking

What is the capacity of the taproom?

Our capacity is 30 people, which includes all guests and staff (usually 2) required to run your event.

What is the hourly rate?

The rate to close our taproom to regular guests for a private event is $300/hr. There is a minimum 4-hour window (so $1,200 total), which allows for setup and cleanup. There is a 50% deposit required to confirm a booking, which is due at least 7 days before the event.

What is included in the booking fee?

Included in the fee are all drinks consumed in the taproom (draught beer and cider, as well as non-alcoholic drinks) and associated costs (taxes) up to $1,000, one or more of our staff to keep the drinks flowing, and an automatic 15% gratuity. Drinks consumed beyond the $1,000 amount will be charged extra. Unused amounts will not be refunded.

How does food/catering work?

We don’t have a kitchen so cannot provide food. However, any outside food (home-made, from a restaurant, or otherwise) can be brought in. But organizing that would be completely up to you.

Can we bring outside liquor?

Absolutely not. Our liquor license does not allow for ANY outside liquor.

Can we bring in a band/entertainment?

Absolutely. And again, organizing this would be entirely on you. Also, keep in mind our venue is small so be considerate about the type of entertainment (e.g., a death metal band may not be the best idea). If it’s just music you want, we have a really nice bluetooth speaker that fills the space nicely that you’re welcome to use.

Can we decorate the taproom to our liking?

Absolutely, within reason. And this would have to be done during your booked time so as not to disrupt regular taproom service.

When is the taproom available to be booked?

Most any day of the week between the hours of 9am-11pm, which are the hours our liquor license allows us to serve. Except Fridays; Fridays are a no-go because we have a very solid regular service on Fridays that we don’t want to disrupt.

Can we have minors at our event?

Absolutely. Our license is family-friendly and accompanied minors are welcome.

Are tours available during a private event?

You bet. If that’s something you’d like to do then it can be arranged if we’re given sufficient notice.

Private Keg Sales

Please contact us at info@deadfallbrewing.com to arrange private purchase of a keg.

We do not sell kegs to private parties for home use (i.e., kegerators). Yeah, this sucks, but we just don't have the capacity to have our kegs out of commission for extended periods of time.

We will sell kegs in either in 30L or 20L format. Because we’re super small, we do need some advanced notice to make sure we have the styles you’re after, especially if you’d like a 20L keg as we don’t normally stock those. There is also the caveat that everything is returned within 7 days of purchase or you forfeit your deposit. See above point on not be able to have our kegs out of commission for long periods of time.

We do have Bronco (hand) pumps available to borrow free of charge. However, these aren’t the best way to dispense beer because they introduce oxygen into the beer, so you’ll have to get through the keg the same night it’s tapped or quality of the beer will tank! Jockey boxes are another option, although we do not have one to loan/rent out.

Barring quality control issues on our end (unlikely!), there will be absolutely NO refunds on purchased kegs once tapped. Once we release product to the public we cannot control the conditions under which it's held, thus cannot guarantee its quality when it returns.
